Included are photographs of events held at American Foundation for the Blind (AFB); AFB staff members; and blind people cooking, walking with canes, reading braille, playing games, making brooms, binding books, sewing, caning chairs, and participating in various other activities. Also included are photographs of tools used by blind people including the braille-writer, Telatouch machine (used by deaf-blind people), talking books; and special clocks, barometers, and other implements adapted for blind people. Views of Louis Braille's birthplace, saddlery, the Louis Braille monument, and Braille's reburial ceremony at the Pantheon in Paris in 1958 are also included.
